The Credit Union Association of New York is using two titans of social media to help share its annual convention and meeting with its members.
This year’s session is set for June 7-10 at Sagamore Resort on Lake George.
Schedules, updates, announcements and photos from the past are available now on Facebook and through a new Twitter account at @CUANYtweets, the association said.
“By taking advantage of social media channels, we can give our credit unions even more opportunities to experience Convention and stay connected,” said William Mellin, the association’s president and CEO.
“Inspiration Awaits” is the theme for this year’s annual gathering, the association said. It has been the trade association for New York credit unions for 95 years, now serving credit unions with a total of 4.5 million members and more than $56 billion in assets.
