|Four regional chapters of South Carolina credit unions haveselected their respective candidates for the inaugural South Carolina Credit Union League Palmetto ProtégéCompetition.
|The event was designed to recognize promising young professionals. The protégé selected will serve asstatewide leader of the SCCUL Young Professional Initiative and apeer advocate for credit unions.
|The four finalists include Patricia Bivens of CPM FCU,representing the Charleston Area Chapter; James Montgomery of SAFEFCU, representing the Columbia Chapter; Ernest Felkel of SPC CU,representing the Pee Dee Chapter; and Katie Matthews of SecuredAdvantage FCU, representing the Piedmont Chapter.
|Finalists will vie for selection as the South Carolina PalmettoProtégé on Friday, April 20 at the league's annual meeting inMyrtle Beach.
