The $251 million East Idaho Credit Union in Idaho Falls will beconverting to the NewSolutions core processing platform from itscurrent Open Solutions Inc. system, the credit union and CUSOsaid.

The conversion will take place in August and also will includemobile and home banking, the credit union said.

“The need for improved processes in this fast paced industrydrove us to look for a solution that would improve not only ourworkflow but would allow us to improve how we serve our members,”said Mike Klements, president/CEO at the 32,000-member East Idaho.

East Idaho will use the Memphis, Tenn., company's new hosted delivery option.

|

“We're finding many credit unions interested in thisapproach, which transfers the responsibility for data backups,disaster recovery, server maintenance and upgrades to our technicalstaff at the Share One data center,” said Roy Stewart, vicepresident of sales at Share One.

Share One now serves 86 credit unions ranging in size from $10million to $1.4 billion, the CUSO said.
