The $251 million East Idaho Credit Union in Idaho Falls will be converting to the NewSolutions core processing platform from its current Open Solutions Inc. system, the credit union and CUSO said.

The conversion will take place in August and also will include mobile and home banking, the credit union said.

“The need for improved processes in this fast paced industry drove us to look for a solution that would improve not only our workflow but would allow us to improve how we serve our members,” said Mike Klements, president/CEO at the 32,000-member East Idaho

East Idaho will use the Memphis, Tenn., company's new hosted delivery option.

“We're finding many credit unions interested in this approach, which transfers the responsibility for data backups, disaster recovery, server maintenance and upgrades to our technical staff at the Share One data center,” said Roy Stewart, vice president of sales at Share One.

Share One now serves 86 credit unions ranging in size from $10 million to $1.4 billion, the CUSO said.
