Akcelerant Holdings has formed a new service company –Akcelerant Advisors – and bought CU Data Miner, a provider ofbusiness intelligence reporting and process improvement solutionsfor credit unions.

Akcelerant said CU Data Miner's founder – Kevin Bingham – willserve as managing partner of the analytics practice for AkcelerantAdvisors. He is a former vice president of information technologyat the $1.3 billion Arizona Federal Credit Union in Phoenix whoformed CU Data Miner about a year ago, according to his LinkedInprofile.

“For the last several years, I have been working with creditunions to provide them with business process re-engineering andanalytics solutions. By joining Akcelerant Advisors, I will be ableto provide value-added solutions to more Akcelerant Softwarecustomers, as well as other financial institutions. Thesevalue-added solutions will allow credit unions to make betterdecisions enabling them to achieve their strategic objectives,”Bingham said.

Akcelerant Software is a provider of collections, lending anddata analysis and collaboration software to more than 500 creditunions and other customers, the company said.
