Lending Solutions Inc. plans to open a second contact center in May to handle the company's unprecedented growth, its CEO said.

The Naperville, Ill., center will be about 30 miles from LSI's headquarters in Elgin, Ill., and will also include a disaster recovery site to provide dual offsite protection, said CEO Lee Kolquist.

The 20,000-square-foot operation will include 235 workstations and help the company increase its workforce to more than 400 by the end of 2012, Kolquist said.

“Over the past several years, LSI has processed more loan applications, answered more phone calls and completed more customer-service transactions at unprecedented numbers than at any time during its 17-year history,” he said.

The Elgin facility already has been expanded several times, Kolquist said.

“Opening a second contact center will allow us to keep pace with our continued growth expectations while providing clients with the same high level of service and support they've always received from LSI,” he said.

More than 300 credit unions now use LSI for 24-hour lending and other member services, the company said.
