Todd Dauchy has left the $897 million Corning Credit Union in Corning, N.Y., to join Software & Management Associates of Kingwood, Texas, as its chief technology officer, the company said.

Dauchy had been with Corning for nearly 25 years, most recently as its chief information officer. He also has been involved in industry affairs, including his election to the CUNA Technology Council Executive Committee last year.

SMA is the developer of OpCon, an event-driven IT automation and job-scheduling solution. Dauchy will be responsible for SMA's global product strategy and operations, the company said.

"SMA, whose technology has automated Corning Credit Union since late 2007, has always impressed me. Although this new role means moving my family across the country, an opportunity like this doesn't come along very often," Dauchy said.

"Our customers are some of the largest and most diverse information centers around the world," said SMA CEO Michael Taylor. "Todd's strong experience managing a dynamic IT organization that focuses on service to customers enables him to uniquely fill this important position."

SMA said it now has public and private clients in 24 countries and offices in the United Kingdom, France, New Zealand and Switzerland.
