Dale Taratuta has been promoted to president/CEO of the $77 million Georgia Heritage FCU in Savannah, Ga.
Taratuta had been chief financial officer since joining the 8,000-member credit union in February 2010.
Taratuta has 30 years of experience at financial institutions, including 17 in management and eight at the executive level, the Georgia Heritage board said.
He had been vice president of finance at two credit unions in Michigan and has a bachelor's degree in accounting from Western Michigan University and a master's degree in finance from Wayne State University, his board said.
Georgia Heritage has two offices and is open to membership to anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Chatham, Effingham or Bryan counties.
