Hoping to tap into what it sees as an underserved segment withinthe industry, Midwest Community Federal Credit Union has launched asmall business services program.


The $129 million credit union in Defiance, Ohio turned to itsmarketing agency to help overhaul the financial institution'swebsite to play upthe new offerings.


“We believe that small and medium-sized businesses have beentraditionally overlooked by the credit union industry,” said SonjaDelaney, president/CEO of MCFCU.


The credit union offers a range of business services includingloans, checking and savings accounts, credit card processing andonline and mobile banking. Its website has a learning centersection that has links to the SBA and other agencies related tosmall business development.
