The CitizensFirst Credit Union board of directors has namedKevin J. Ralofsky as the organization's new chief executiveofficer. Ralofsky, currently the CEO of Vacationland Federal Credit Union in Sandusky, Ohio, will takethe helm at the $360 million, 28,642-member CitizensFirst,headquartered in Oshkosh, Wis., on May 29.

At the $139 million, 15,608-member Vacationland, Ralofsky, whois also a board member of the Ohio Credit Union League and otherlocal non-profit organizations, championed corporate branding,growth in the business loan portfolio and innovative social mediaand guerilla marketing outreach efforts to bring more Gen Y membersinto the credit union. He is the founder of ChatterYak!, a CUservice organization that provides social media consulting servicesto credit unions across the country.

Before joining VacationLand, Ralofsky worked as a managementconsultant in financial services and medical fields and incommercial lending and retail services for corporate banks. He was the vice president of commercial lending with Fifth ThirdBancorp in Cleveland and assistant vice president commercialbanking for National City Corporation, also in Cleveland.
