|The rebate, provided to credit unions with full counselingpartnerships for more than a year, above a specific price point forservice, is reflected on reduced service invoices in February orMarch.
|“We have so much respect for the credit union industry,especially those credit unions who made the choice to continue tomake sure their members had access to the tools they need forfinancial success.” said Joanne Budde, president of BALANCE. “Thisrebate is a way to show our appreciation.”
|More than 600 credit unions nationwide, representing more than28 million members, partner with BALANCE to strengthen memberrelationships, reduce losses, support salary advance or overdraftprivilege programs, provide identity theft tools and support, andprovide financial management tools for their members. Many use thepartnership as an outreach tool to serve the underserved in theircommunities, as an additional selling point to current andpotential SEGs, and as a differentiation from other financialinstitutions.
