Members of Kellogg Community Federal Credit Union will now haveaccess to additional insurance services through a new agencylaunch.

KCFCU Insurance Agency opened for business Dec. 13, according tothe $369 million credit union in Battle Creek, Mich. The subsidiary will offerauto, homeowners, business and renters insurance as well as otherspecialty insurance products such as wedding and pet insurance.

The credit union said the new entity comes through a partnershipwith Insuritas, a national provider of outsourced insuranceagencies. The alliance will allow KCFCU to own a complete insurance agency without the capitalinvestments required to build or buy one, according to KCFCU.
