On Monday morning, Spokane Valley locals will be able to charge their electric cars while banking at Spokane Teachers Credit Union.

The $1.5 billion Washington credit union's new, eco-friendly South Valley Branch features the area's first 240-volt charging station for electric cars open to the public.

The level II charging station, paired with two parking spaces reserved for electric cars or chargeable hybrids, is just one of the many earth-friendly features designed into the branch.
