Kimberly Hollingshead-Aitken has a brand-new 2011 BMW at thebest possible price, free, after she followed through on a hunch ona recent Friday morning. The Clark County School District teacherwent to a branch of her Las Vegas credit union, the $667 millionSilver State Schools, and found that the key she had been sent inthe mail indeed was the one that turned the lockbox “ignition” towin the car. Hollingshead-Aitken said she had been insistent aboutgoing that morning despite her husband and daughter not feeling sogreat. “It was my birthday weekend, and I just had this feeling,”she said. Blake Boyer, SSSCU's director of marketing, said 30,000keys were mailed to members, including one winner. “This isactually the third time we've held a promotion to give away a brandnew car. But this is the first time we've had the member with thewinning key come to the sale,” he said.
