Consumers Credit Union is hoping a series of sessions will help those interested in becoming United States citizens.

The $550 million credit union in Waukegan, Ill., will host a Dec. 10 workshop at its Mundelein branch to assist eligible legal applicants in procuring their U.S. citizenship.

The workshop is a collaborative effort with the New American Initiative Program, North Suburbs Collaborative formed by the Fr. Gary Graf Center, Hispanic American Community Education and Services, Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society and Hanul Family Alliance.
