Wright-Patt FCU President/CEO Douglas Fecher is scheduled to discuss what credit unions are doing to help the middle class improve their financial lives during a hearing of a Senate Banking Committee subcommittee set for 3 p.m. on Tuesday.

Fecher, whose $1.5 billion institution is based in the Dayton suburb of Fairborn, Ohio, is on a panel which also includes three law professors and an adviser to the Federal Reserve. 

The hearing subject is "Consumer Protection and Middle Class Wealth Building in an Age of Growing Household Debt.''
