The $684 million TruStone Financial Credit Union in Plymouth, Minn., will be converting to the flagship Acumen account processing solution from Fiserv Inc., the company and credit union said.
The 58,000-member Twin Cities credit union cited the platform's open architecture, ability to deliver efficiencies and automation and integrated ancillary solutions in its decision, Fiserv said.
Along with the core account processing solution, TruStone Financial will be using Corillian online banking and 14 other Fiserv solutions, including ZashPay person-to-person, CheckFree RXP bill pay, item processing, document imaging, MRM, accounting, mobile banking and ATM management.
According to the Technology Survey from Callahan & Associates, TruStone currently runs on online banking and the UltraData core processing platform from Harland Financial Solutions and uses PSCU Financial Services for bill pay and credit card processing.
“Our credit union has been going through a deliberate transformation, reinventing ourselves to become more competitive. We were looking for technology that could support our business priorities, which include plans for aggressive growth as well as improved service delivery for our members,” said TruStone CEO Tim Bosiacki.
Acumen was rolled out in late 2009 as a new, open platform based on Internet technologies. It has now been sold to about 25 Canadian and American credit unions.
