Concerns about the approaching Hurricane Irene led the NCUA to announce that that it will postpone its August 29 Board meeting to August 30 if the federal government's Office of Personnel Management shuts down federal agencies on August 29.
In case that happens, the meeting would take place at 2:00 in the afternoon of August 30 at the NCUA's headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia
