Synergent, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Maine Credit UnionLeague, said it has signed two more credit unions as users of itselectronic check collection and share draft processingservices.

They are the $218 million Waterbury CT Teachers FCU inMiddlebury, Conn., and the $136 million MOOG Employees FCU in EastAurora, N.Y.

The company also said it has recently implemented checkprocessing services at the following credit unions, all inConnecticut: the $37 million Tobacco Valley Teachers FCU and $23million Enfield Community CU, both in Enfield; the $20 millionMiddConn FCU in Middletown; the $14 million Connecticut LaborDepartment FCU in Wethersfield; the $68 million First New EnglandFCU in East Hartford, and the $688 million Charter Oak FCU in Groton.

Synergent is based in Westbrook, Maine, and is celebrating its40th anniversary this year. The company it now providescheck processing for more than 100 credit unions across theNortheast. Its other services include a Symitar core processingservice bureau.
