Perimeter E-Security is now offering a secured cloud-based messaging solution that supports the Microsoft Exchange 2010 system.
Called SaaS Secure Messaging 6.0, the service provides compliant, secured service for messaging, anti-virus and spam protection, data leak prevention, business continuity mirroring, archiving and mobile management, the Milford, Conn., company said.
The service is being offered through USA.NET, a brand of Perimeter E-Security, a provider of secured infrastructure solutions that now includes about 500 credit unions on its client list.

Perimeter E-Security said its solution is the first cloud-based offering of its type in the market to include Exchange 2010. It also supports Exchange 2007, as well as Microsoft's SharePoint and Communicator software.
The company said its software now filters 50 million emails, analyzes 240 million security events and manages 200 terabytes of customer archives each day for about 6,000 customers.
