Rep. David Wu (D-Ore.), announced his resignation today, afterbeing accused of having a sexual encounter with an 18-year oldwoman.
Wu, who had said that any encounter was consensual, said hisresignation will take effect after Congress deals with thedebt-ceiling crisis.
CUNA's political action committee gave his campaign $5,000during the 2010 cycle.
