Public Service Credit Union has literally brought banking to itsmembers in suburban Detroit.
|The $134 million Romulus, Mich., credit union said its newbranch on wheels marks the first mobile CO-OP Services sharedbranch in the nation.
|The truck’s onboard ATM and full service branch can serve bothits members and those of other credit unions that are part of theCO-OP Services shared branch network.
|In addition to having the ATM and teller window open at itsdebut on Friday, PSCU handed out flags, beach balls, popcorn and gift cards tohelp credit union members get a jump on the holiday weekend.
|Plans for the mobile branch include festivals, events, schoolsand driving the branch to businesses the 24,000-member PSCU haspartnered with on their paydays for employees to have easy accessto financial services.
