During the first five months of 2011, CUNA's political action committee received $502,266 in contributions towards its efforts to influence the outcome of campaigns and NAFCU's  fundraising efforts netted $53,669, according to reports filed with the Federal Election Commission.

CUNA's Credit Union Legislative Action Council raised $79,569 in May and NAFCU's National Association of Federal Credit Unions Political Action Committee raised $4,646.

CULAC made $683,403 in contributions during the first five months of 2011 and $180,331 in May.
