Member Driven Technologies in suburban Detroit said it has converted the $84 million CTCE Federal Credit Union of Reading, Pa., to the Symitar Episys platform through MDT's processing service.

The conversion was the Warren, Mich., CUSO's 49th to date, according to President/CEO Larry Nichols, who said four more are scheduled this year. When those are complete, the company's data centers will support services to more than 800,000 members representing more than $6 billion in assets, Nichols said.

The 14,000-member CTCE FCU had been a Fiserv Advantage user, according to the Callahan & Associates Technology Survey.

MDT said it now operates in nearly 20 states and has a client list that includes 24 of the 45 credit unions in Michigan running on the Symitar Episys platform. San Diego-based Symitar is a division of Jack Henry & Associates of Missouri and provides core processing services to more than 700 credit unions.

MDT was formed in 2003 by a group of seven Michigan credit unions.
