The $5.1 billion San Diego County Credit Union is now offering its 215,000 members same-day payments through its Bill Payer Plus online bill pay solution.
SDCCU is one of the first financial institutions to offer the new service through Fiserv Inc.'s CheckFree RXP platform, the company and credit union said.
"Same-day payments can help our members pay their bills on time and avoid late charges or penalties from their billers. In today's economy, this can be a very useful service for many members," said SDCCU President/CEO Teresa Halleck.
