Card Analysis Solutions, a credit union card portfolioconsultancy, has announced it will offer its card management schoolagain Sept. 19-21 in Chicago.

Firm founder and noted CU card consultant Ondine Irving willconduct the program.

“My approach has always been one of teaching and educatingcredit card program management from a completely independentperspective – a complete 360-degree education from lending tocollections and everything in between,” Irving said.

“One of my most instrumental sessions is showing credit unionswhere and how to reduce processing expenses. If credit unions canreduce processing expenses, the member ultimately benefits as thesavings can be reflected in the product offerings,”sheexplained.

“Attendees will leave with a “to do” list of items for improvingtheir own card program including identification of cost savingswhich can be shared with their respective credit card processors,”the firm said when announcing the school.

Irving has been conducting these sessions since 2007 across thecountry and said it's targeted at both card-issuing credit unionsand CUS re-entering the market.

“It is an opportunity for live discussion with peers, processorsand all staff levels, she said, adding that executives from TheMembers Group, PSCU, Geezeo, Lending Solutions, CU Swag, amongothers, will join her in leading sessions at the school.
