The 121 employees of the $412 million Sun East Federal Credit Union in Aston, Pa., have now earned something dearly coveted – a day off.  

That's because the CU achieved 100% participation in a "Deduct-A-Buck" political advocacy campaign.

The vacation day offer came last Friday after the employees reached the target set by its president/CEO, Michael Kaczenski. He said he's vowed to generate higher internal advocacy awareness and political action "at a time when we are facing a barrage of challenges from the banks, the debit interchange and more."
