FedComp Inc. said it has added private cloud computing as an outsourcing option for its core processing credit union clients.

The Fairfax, Va., company said it currently is providing traditional service bureau and in-house core processing solutions to about 930 credit unions.

FedComp said its private cloud service offers secure remote hosting of critical applications and includes server and operating system management, data storage and archiving, while still offering the flexibility and greater customization of in-house systems.
