Lincoln Elementary School recently hosted the Pottstown School District's Reading Olympics. John Faust (far right), president/CEO of Diamond Credit Union, and Chip, Diamond CU's mascot (rear, center), were on hand to share in the competition.

Diamond Credit Union has sponsored the Pottstown School District's Reading Olympics Program for six consecutive years, providing team T-shirts and financial support to help purchase books and transportation to events.

The Reading Olympics is a rapid-recall question and answer competition that asks teams of students to answer questions pulled from 40 to 50 books. The event helps children learn about teamwork and improve reading comprehension skills.
