The Wisconsin Credit Union League is reporting the state's credit unions saved their members millions of dollars in 2010.

Under the title Real Solutions' 2010 Scorecard for Wisconsin Credit Unions, the League reported that Wisconsin CU members saved $112 million in loans in 2010, as well as more than $56 million on savings products and $33 million in fees by being credit union members.

The League also touted the report's citation of credit union work at so-called intangible services like free financial counseling that prevented home foreclosures, free tax preparation for lower income households and financial education.
