CU*Answers plans to go live with a new high availability backup system in February, the Michigan-based core processing CUSO said.

A new center in Muskegon will provide high availability and disaster recovery services to about 147 of the company's 165 credit union clients and join existing data centers about 50 miles away at its Grand Rapids headquarters and nearby Kentwood.

The new backup system was tested Jan. 16-23 and the rollover will take place on Feb. 13, the CUSO said.
