Fiserv Inc. has signed an existing client as a user of its new Acumen core processing platform and a new client to its XP2 solution.
The $980 million GESA CU of Richland, Wash., will deploy the Acumen platform along with other solutions, including enterprise content management and ATM, branch and teller item capture, the Brookfield, Wis., company said.
GESA now is a user of the Summit Spectrum platform, according to the Callahan & Associates Technology Survey. Acumen debuted in late 2009 as an all-new, open platform based on Internet technologies and a 360-degree view of member relationships and is now in use at about 25 Canadian and American credit unions.

Meanwhile, the $180 million Fort Financial CU in Fort Wayne, Ind., will be converting to Fiserv's XP2 account processing platform. More than 220 credit unions now run that platform, Fiserv said.
Fort Financial currently is an Open Solutions Inc. core processing customer, according to the Callahan tech survey. It will integrate new online banking, bill pay, accounting, audio response and content management solutions as part of its Fiserv deployment, the company said.
