Georgia Federal Credit Union has now become Georgia United Credit Union.

With the Duluth, Ga.-based credit union's recent change to a state charter, the new name is designed to honor its history while representing an organization united in helping Georgia families build stronger futures.

Plans are underway to introduce the more than $630 million credit union's new name and logo over the next few months-as debit and credit cards are reissued, checks are reordered, and signs are updated.
