I appreciated Sarah Snell Cooke’s Editor’s Column in the Dec. 1 issue ["Money Doesn't Grow on Trees"]. I gave a similar message in e-mails to all of our congressman in Tennessee (Sens. Corker and Alexander and Rep. Duncan) regarding the NCUA receiving these massive budget increases over the last two years while credit unions are paying these massive assessments for the next 12 years. I asked them to investigate the budgeting of the agency. I have not received a reply as of yet. I may forward the article to them as Cooke has done the hard statistical reporting for me.
