Cloud computing adoption and outsourcing IT, preparing for the changeover of Internet server addresses, mobile computing and the continuing rollout of the Windows 7 operating system are all things that the credit union backshop may be dealing with in 2011.

That's according to a new report titled "Top 7 IT Trends for '11″ offered up by NSK Inc., a Boston-based provider of IT services to a wide range of small and medium-sized businesses.

Number one on the firm's list is a continuing increase in off-site storage and application deployments while "more organizations begin to implement virtualized internal environments as private clouds gain popularity this year."
