A member of CSRA Credit Union, a division of Associated Credit Union, recently walked away with more than a new car purchase. John Farr won $5,000 in gold in a campaign drawing.
The "Take Home the Gold" promotion encouraged individuals to apply for a new or used auto loan at the credit union and be entered into a drawing to win $5,000 in gold. The Augusta, Ga.-based CSRA CU, Associated CU in Norcross, Ga., in conjunction with August Credit Union CarFinders, held the promotion in August and September.
"We wanted to encourage more of our members to apply for a loan, get a great rate and help stimulate the economy," said Leah Eldridge, CSRA CU division president.
