Fuhr Software Inc. said it has upgraded its LobbyCentral check-in system and service tracking application with a browser-based component.
Called Service Center Web, the upgrade allows employees to securely access the LobbyCentral application with a Web browser without requiring the application to be on their computers, the Columbus, Ohio, company said.
LobbyCentral allows staff in real-time to check in arriving members, monitor those waiting and take service requests, now from any computer using a browser, including iPads.

The 5-year-old company said it now has dozens of credit unions and universities using its LobbyCentral software. The new Web component is a free upgrade to existing customers and will be standard in new installs, Fuhr Software said.
