Some lucky soldiers at Fort Belvoir will be still be able to enjoy a Thanksgiving feast courtesy of Belvoir Federal Credit Union.
|The Woodbridge, Va.-based credit union has made plans to cater a smorgasbord of Thanksgiving dinner favorites to 15 soldiers who are unable to take leave during the holiday season due to their training on Fort Belvoir.
|"These soldiers sacrifice so much for their country, serving them a warm meal on Thanksgiving is the least we could do. We simply wanted to bring them a little piece of home," said Belvoir Federal CEO Patricia Kimmel.
