PSCU Financial Services hasexpanded its credit card collections service to include automatedcalling during extended hours the CUSO said will help credit unionsincrease collections rate.


The CUCollect-Core service makes up to threecalls a day from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. while professional operatorsanswer inbound calls to take urgent payments over the phone andrecord account updates.


The service can make 10,000 calls an hour and touch cardholdersup to 20 times per month and claims a 70% right-party connectratio. A flat fee is charged with no additional charges for urgentpayments, PSCU said.


PSCU said its 10-year-old CUCollect service hasconverted more than 50% of delinquent accounts to current and makes500,000 calls to credit union cardholders monthly. Collectionsservices for all loan products are available, the CUSO said. It hascall centers in Detroit and Phoenix and at its headquarters in St.Petersburg, Fla.
