Fiserv Inc. said it has signed its 20th Canadian user of the technology vendor's new Acumen core processing platform.
The $165 million Nelson and District Credit Union in Nelson, British Columbia, said the new solution will help it better serve the Kootenay Lake area, in which it returned nearly 40% of its net income to local communities last year through its Community Investment Program.
"Our credit union is devoted to the benefit of the communities we serve, and that requires tools that allow us to serve most efficiently," said Doug Stoddart, CEO of the 12,500-member CU.
Fiserv debuted the Acumen platform in Canada last year as an all-new open platform based on Internet technologies and providing a 360-degree view of member relationships.
Four U.S. credit unions also have signed up to use Acumen.
