Orange County's Credit Union said nearly 3% of its 78,000 members signed up for the $949 million credit union's new mobile banking service within two weeks of its recent launch.

And more than 55% used at least two of the three delivery modes (text, mobile Web browser or downloadable app), according to platform provider Tyfone Inc. of Portland, Ore.

OCCU's downloadable apps are being offered through the Android Marketplace and the iPhone App Store, the credit union said.
