More than 5 percent of Delta Community Credit Union's 205,000 members have signed up for mobile banking since the service debuted in June, the $3.7 billion institution said.
Atlanta-based Delta Community is using Fiserv Inc.'s Mobile Money platform to provide free access through any Web-enabled mobile device that supports WAP browsers, regardless of carrier.
Functionality includes account balances and transfers, bill pay, credit card transaction review and branch locations, as well as a text service that provides real-time account balances and most recent transactions.
