Philadelphia Federal Credit Union staffers once again have grown green by planting vegetables and herbs in the PFCU Garden.

Aside from keeping up with the annual tradition and enjoying the team-building activities, PFCU was recognized for its efforts to enhance the city's green initiative by the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society for the second year in a row. This year, PFCU was honored with second prize in the "Community Garden" category.

Employees staked out parcels of land for each department to plant its garden at PFCU's operations center. The crops were then harvested and sold to fellow staffers. The funds raised were then donated to Aid For Friends Frail Elderly Outreach Center.
