Texas credit unions are wasting little time to make their views known to the NCUA about the shape of the corporate system and servicing dilemmas.

As of publication, 140 top managers and volunteers of Texas CUs signed up to be members of an advisory council being put together by the NCUA-conserved Southwest Bridge Corporate FCU of Plano with help from the Texas Credit Union League.

John McKechnie, NCUA's director of public and congressional affairs, said there is no firm timetable when the appointments will be made or how many council members would be included.
