The new role of director of industry relations at REALTORS Federal Credit Union will have the task of working directly with brokers, local and state associations to promote membership benefits.

Benny McMahan, a REALTOR and former president/CEO of the Texas Association of REALTORS, recently joined the CU in the newly-created position. He has 49 years in the real estate business including leadership roles with several Texas-based associations. During his term at TAR, he played an active role in increasing membership by more than 50,000 and helped spur the growth of its political action committee, according to RFCU.

"I am extremely excited to take on this new opportunity with RFCU," McMahan said. "RFCU delivers convenient, accessible financial services to REALTORS. It's a significant benefit that caters to every NAR member in a unique way. I'm ready to help spread that message."
