Kern Schools Federal Credit Union in Bakersfield, Calif., will be converting to the XP2 core processing platform from Fiserv Inc., the company and credit union said.

The $1.5 billion, 194,000-member credit union also will be using online account opening, anti-money laundering compliance, cash management, branch check imaging, IVR, electronic processing, enterprise content management and wire transfer solutions from Fiserv, along with the Corillian Online Internet banking platform, CheckFree bill pay, item processing and Mobile Money online banking.

The conversion will take place in February. Kern FCU currently is running on a system from EPL Inc., according to its 5300 Call Report.

The credit union cited the XP2 platform's browser-based technology and the need to increase efficiencies and enhance member service for its decision, as well as the ability to seamlessly integrate a range of solutions from the same company.
