An Ohio-based specialist in core processing for small credit unions said it is making a significant move into the Chicago market with its signing of 77th Street Depot Federal Credit Union in Chicago to a seven-year deal.

R.C. Olmstead Inc. said it will provide the 3,800-member credit union with core processing, home banking, laser forms and a real-time ATM/debit interface.

"RCO advised us and worked to provide a plan that got us the services we needed without putting a financial strain on our credit union," said Delphyne Tolbert, manager of the $18 million credit union for Chicago city transportation workers and their families.
