For the first time ever, CUNA Mutual Group said it will offerits Discovery Conference online.

Scheduled for Nov. 3, the conference is the Web-based equivalentof a face-to-face conference without the associated expenses ortime away from the office, CUNA Mutual said. Participants willexperience the same presentations at CUNA Mutual's DiscoveryConferences and its Discovery Webinar series, which has drawn morethan 3,000 participants over the past 12 months.

Registration will open Sept. 27 atwww.cunamutual.com/discoveryonline. Estimated to be a $250 value,the conference is free in celebration of CUNA Mutual's75th anniversary, according to the company.

“We are bringing the quality of presenters and content from ourface-to-face Discovery Conferences online in an eight-hour event,”said Steve Johnson, vice president, marketing and sales strategy atCUNA Mutual.? “Discovery is online, on target and on budget forcredit unions. Staff will be able to choose from three tracks oflearning that will feature 11 future-focused sessions.”

The online event is designed for CEOs and senior leadershipteams of credit unions, but credit union and league employees arealso welcome.
