The Homes for Our Troops charity will gain from a golf promotion that pairs soldiers and executives from the $150 million Mid Missouri Credit Union.
CU officials said they hope to raise $10,000 from the Sept. 29 tournament to be held on a large course on the Army base.
"This event gives participants a chance to see and experience a day with a hero while supporting a great cause," said Brent Sadler, the CU's chief operating officer.

He said 36 scramble teams are being formed for the tournament including soldiers from the base as well as executives from Missouri CUs which have sponsored events supporting Homes for Our Troops.
The Massachusetts-based charity has been erecting adapted homes for severely injured Iraq and Afghanistan war veterans in many states.
Each team in the Missouri outing is required to pony up $300 and will play with one soldier.
In June the Missouri HFOT committee turned over the keys of a specially adapted home in Columbia for Army Sgt. Robert Canine and his family. Canine had lost both legs below the knee in the Iraq war.
The Missouri Credit Union Association said it plans to recognize Mid Missouri and the 40 other CUs for their HFOT contributions at its annual Convention and Exposition Sept. 14-16 in Branson.
