NAFCU has added more federal legislators and an additional regulator to the roster of speakers for its 2010 Congressional Caucus.

The Caucus is scheduled for Sept. 19-22 in Washington DC.

The new legislators are U.S. Reps. Paul Kanjorski (D-Pa.), Emanuel Cleaver, II (D-Mo.), Jackie Speier (D-Calif.) and Leonard Lance (R-N.J.). The new regulator is NCUA Board Member Gigi Hyland.

Kanjorski is the chairman of the House Financial Services Subcommittee on Capitol Markets, Insurance, and Government-Sponsored Enterprises. He is also a member of the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.

Kanjorski introduced the Promoting Lending to America's Small Businesses Act of 2009 (H.R. 3380) along with Rep. Ed Royce (R-Calif.), who will also address the meeting.

Cleaver serves on the House Financial Services Subcommittees on Domestic Monetary Policy and Technology; Housing and Community Opportunity; and Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit.

Speier is a member of the House Financial Services Subcommittees on Capital Markets, Insurance, and Government-Sponsored Enterprises; Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit; and Oversight and Investigations. She also serves on the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.

Lance, also a House Financial Services Committee member, serves on the Subcommittees of Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit, as well as Domestic Monetary Policy and Technology.

Gigi Hyland joins fellow NCUA Board Members Debbie Matz, chairman, and Michael Fryzel on the speaker roster.
